My Story

My journey into Chinese Medicine started with a desire to help my family and friends when they were unwell. I was drawn to the healing power of acupuncture, which I could take anywhere to help people instantly. After completing my medical sciences degree, I met Kieren, who introduced me to Chinese Medicine’s holistic approach—looking at the whole person, including sleep, digestion, and emotional health, not just the main complaint. This resonated with me as I believe in the importance of truly listening to patients to achieve the best outcomes.

What I love about Chinese Medicine is its versatility. Acupuncture can treat a wide range of conditions, with treatments tailored to the individual. I also appreciate that treatments are adaptable, addressing both current issues and preventing future problems. Throughout my career, I’ve learned from renowned practitioners like Dr. Rich Hazel, Dr. Sonia F. Tan, and Dr. Shu Wang, learning multiple acupuncture and herbal medicine styles.

While Chinese Medicine focuses on long-term health and preventative care, it’s also reactive. I enjoy using both Western and Chinese medical perspectives to understand and treat the body, helping patients feel comfortable and connected to their treatment.

For me, it’s incredibly rewarding when patients can return to their favourite activities, whether that’s playing sports or enjoying a meal without pain or discomfort. My mission is to help people regain strength, energy, and the freedom to live their lives with ease—free from physical or mental resistance.

I encourage patients to ask questions because understanding your body is key to long-term health. My passion lies in helping people not only feel better but also learn more about how their body works. Whether you're looking for pain relief, stress management, or general support, I hope to see you at the clinic!
